COVID-19 has been a wakeup call. Much has changed since past year. This year – is a time for change, a change that speaks up for nature – it’s time to join hands for Earth Hour.

What is Earth Hour? This is an initiative to encourage individuals, businesses and governments around the world to assume responsibility for their carbon footprint. The aim is to engage in dialogue, collaborate among ourselves to devise real, practical solutions to our environmental challenges.

Well, how do U start? All U need to do is to switch off UR lights in the support of planet on Saturday, 27th March at 8:30-9:30 pm.

While it may sound quite simple, this 60 mins effect of change, is a spotlight hope for climate and wildlife. This act encourages U to take responsibility and protect the Earth.

It all starts with implementing little changes. Observing the earth hour is a step ahead in this direction. This day, started by WWF, is today, one of the world’s largest grassroots movements for the environment.

The symbolic act of switching off the non-essential lights is a drive for positive environment impact.

When the skylines go dark, it gives humanity a moment of self-reflection. This unmissable sight among streets, buildings, and landmarks invites the attention and awareness to see the planet in a new light.

What can U do during Earth Hour?
  • U can watch the Earth hour event. Invite your friends and family to tune to the live events of Earth Hour together at one place.
  • Take a glimpse of the dark and feel the collective power of people.
  • U can host a session on important of nature and put it on live.
  • Catch some photos in the dark. It will stay memorable and remind u to be proactive for nature throughout UR life.
  • Share about the importance of healthy planet on UR social media pages and walls.
  • Organize a candle campaign along with friends and family.

When we cause harm to earth, we cause harm to our own health. Today, in Earth Hour, let us take a pledge to protect the biodiversity, conserve the natural resources and engage in sustainable practices. Afterall, there is only one earth and 8.7 million species depend on its precious resources!
