Overcoming negative thoughts can turn out to be a daunting task when UR by yourself. More so, when U R in quarantine and trying to get through a pandemic with an optimistic mindset! Many of us are yet to adjust to the new norm and its bothersome setbacks of not being able to spend time with our friends, family and loved ones without any restrictions. Some days you might feel like you have a 1000 tabs open all at once in UR mind. When you tell yourself not to do something, you somehow end up doing the opposite! Our mind is our sweet frenemy. So when UR mind is overpowered with negative or unnecessary thoughts, the trick is to train UR mind into thinking positively.
In life, you might have faced many instances that may leave you feeling defeated and sometimes lost, especially during the pandemic. But this doesn’t mean you forget how to stay happy, motivated and make a comeback. Motivation and dreaming big goes hand-in-hand while we strive to fulfil our aspirations and goals we forget to give ourselves the time we need. Pursuit art or talent to divert UR mind and to enhance UR creativity: Doing so uses the right hemisphere of UR brain instead of just using the left hemisphere which is used only for logical and analytical thinking and execution.
Spend time with UR loved ones and friends: Though restricted by the pandemic, look for ways to stay connected with our loved ones by using technology to UR advantage. Video calling, phone calls and other social media platforms can help you bridge the communication gap during this crisis.
