As humans, we are social animals and the basis of our social being is interpersonal communication. We need to connect with other human beings. Some of the major factors that can lead to mental issues are feelings of loneliness and isolation. All relationships can be defined in terms of the support you give and what you receive. This is apart from the work you do. It pertains to UR family and friends, UR peers, acquaintances and your well-wishers.

UR friends have an important role in UR mental healing

One of the most special bonds is the one we have with our friends. Our mental well-being is hugely dependent on friends and individuals we enjoy spending time with. Someone we can trust and confide in. Being in the company of friends is essential for mental health. But nowadays, due to work commitments, family obligations or romantic relationships, the relationship we have with our friends can be side-lined. Besides, with social media – real-life encounters have reduced and friends now prefer to keep in touch through instant messages or by responding to friends’ updates that are posted on the internet.
